How are we connected to our origins?

This series explores the awareness of our roots, as the deepest and most remote part of ourselves. The works emerge from a search for an intuitive and familiar gesture: the memory of the hands, embroidery and painting practices passed down by the grandmothers and develop over time. The continuous wandering through texture brings to light the most essential part of the artistic journey undertaken so far. Explanations become superfluous. What emerges is a continued attention to simple forms, shaped by an ongoing exploration of the reading of color and its possibilities for combination.

The series become a refuge for the traveler. It invites them to follow a red thread, a visual and structural manifestation of an invisible connection between experience, memory, identity and thought. A journey towards the discovery of inner territories still unexplored.
